Angela R. Hughes is an award winning historical fantasy and paranormal romance author, writing coach, and independent publisher based in Waco, Texas. As the founder of Ink & Iron Fiction Coaching  and Co-Creator of Lore & Legacy Press, she is dedicated to helping writers transform their ideas into compelling stories and confidently navigate the path from first draft to publication. Whether crafting her own novels or mentoring fellow authors, Angela believes storytelling has the power to ignite imagination and impact culture.

Inspired by the myths and legends that have captivated readers for centuries, Angela’s work blends rich historical settings with fantasy, folklore, and the supernatural. Her lifelong fascination with the hero’s journey, Arthurian legend, and Celtic mythology has become the foundation of much of her writing. While living in Ireland, she developed a deep appreciation for the history, folklore, and breathtaking landscapes of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England—experiences that continue to shape the worlds and characters she creates.

Angela is the author of The Once and Future Chronicles, including Elanor & the Song of the Bard, Merlin & the Magic of Time, and Arthur & the Golden Dragon. She has also expanded her storytelling into darker historical fantasy with The Lost Son of Orcades Parts I and II, as well as the paranormal romance Shadows of the Forgotten Shore.

When she’s not writing or working with authors, Angela enjoys painting, encouraging fellow creatives, spending time with her family, chatting with fellow nerds over coffee, baking, visiting wineries, and traveling in search of the next story waiting to be told.
